Handcrafted Wooden Cremation Urns

Crafted in Co. Waterford by our skilled artisan Larry, our collection of handmade wooden cremation urns in Ireland is created with deep respect, care, and craftsmanship. Each urn is individually turned and finished from carefully selected, ethically sourced timber, chosen for its natural beauty, grain, and character.

Larry, a qualified Carpenter/Joiner since the mid-1970s, has spent a lifetime working with wood. His approach is rooted in patience and understanding of the material — seeing each piece of timber as something with its own story waiting to be revealed. For him, the process is not just about making an object, but about honouring the life within the wood and transforming it into something meaningful and enduring.

Working from his workshop in Co. Waterford, Larry uses traditional woodturning techniques to shape each urn, wooden bowls and platters by hand. The result is a collection of unique memorial pieces, where no two are ever the same — each one reflecting the individuality of the wood and the quiet skill of the craftsman.

These artisan wooden cremation urns are designed to offer families a natural, elegant, and personal way to honour a loved one. Simple, timeless, and beautifully made, they represent the respectful transformation of raw timber into a lasting tribute.
