Delivery Information
We offer free shipping to Irish addresses on all orders. Our aim is to get your handcrafted urn to you in the safest and most efficient manner. Please review the details of our delivery policy below:
- Shipping Costs: Free shipping is available for orders delivered to Irish addresses.
- Shipping Method: We use An Post, or a reliable courier services to ensure your urn arrives safely.
- Dispatch Time: If our urns are in stock we hope to ship within 1-3 days. However, custom orders will take longer depending on the requirements
- You will receive an estimated delivery timeframe upon purchase.
- International Orders: For orders outside Ireland, please contact us directly for shipping options and rates.
Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your urn purchase. If you are not happy with your item for any reason, we offer a return policy to ensure a hassle-free process. Please review the following:
- Eligibility for Returns: You may return the urn within 14 days of receipt, provided that the urn is unused, undamaged, and in its original condition, including packaging.
- Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the purchase price upon return. This fee covers the costs of processing the return and restocking the item.
- Return Authorization: Before shipping the urn back to us, customers must contact us in advance at hello@cremationurns.ie to request a valid return code. This ensures that we can track your return and process it correctly.
- Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service to return the urn, as we cannot be held liable for any lost or damaged items during the return process.
- Condition of Return: The urn must be returned in unused, undamaged condition to qualify for a return. Items that show signs of use or damage may not be eligible for a refund.
Refund Process
Once we have received and inspected the returned urn, we will process your refund. The refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus the restocking fee. Please note that refunds may take several business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your urn arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund. You may be asked to provide photographs of the damaged product to help with our investigation. If the item is deemed defective or damaged upon arrival, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Unique and Handmade Products
As each urn is handcrafted by our skilled artisan, Larry Cosgrave, every piece is unique and individual in its design. While we strive to provide accurate images and descriptions of our urns online, please understand that the colour and grain patterns of the wood may vary slightly from what you see on the screen. These natural variations are part of the charm of owning a bespoke, handcrafted urn, and we cannot be held responsible if the final product does not exactly match the online representation.
