Our craftsman Larry, qualified as a Carpenter/Joiner in the mid-1970s and has worked all his life with wood. He finds that working with wood offers a blend of creativity, expertise and problem-solving that he finds enjoyable. For Larry, it is the process of transforming each piece of raw wood to its fullest potential, to enable it to tell its own story.
It is all about taking something that was once alive and beautiful, and turning it back, on the wood turning lathe, into something functional and beautiful – a perfect metamorphosis.
